I have it on good authority that even Indiana there are hundreds of Lowes and Home Depots.

 

It is called expanded metal lath which is standard for any stucco or plastering job  It comes in 2'x8' sheets and costs less than $8.   You can find it in the cement/stucco/plaster aisle.    Photo below.   Neal

Thank you for the great suggestion. I was very excited with the prospect but yet again Indiana does not seem to have joined the 21st century. I can not find it in the local stores here and am now searching for any local manufactures but fear the cost will be more then I am willing to pay.

So if there are any other ideas just encase this one does not pan out I would be grateful.
