Re: [papercreters] Re: PC Heaven

Yeah, that's what I meant to say - auto parts store or hardware store. I would look to see how much metal is there to protect the threads. Of course it'll just leave a conical thread if it bites in, so not bad depending on how much thread you have, which you can't really tell until you get the broken part out.

You'd think with over 1,400 members we'd see more chatter. I guess most are just reading and learning   : )
Or like me, off doing other things.

LOL. Nice work by me? Heck, you've been carrying the load a lot the last few months while I was AWOL. Nice work BY YOU and the other moderators, dude. This group would be a wasteland without you guys. Oh yeah... Here is a photo of a screw extractor for anyone interested: http://tinyurl.com/ScrewExtractor The thing twists into the head of a screw that has had the head stripped out and kinda bites into the head. It helps get out stubborn ones sometimes. Most any decent hardware store will have them. Spaceman wrote: Nice pictures. For the sprayer, have you tried an easy out? It's sort of a backwards screw used for removing stripped bolts or screws. I want to shorten the tube on my sprayer but with a potential 4,000 psi I think I want a stainless steel nipple, not something I can pick up at a big box store. The long wand is great for sweeping the bottom of the barrel but mostly a shorter gun would be more convenient. I'm gonna be covered with pulp anyway, might as well stick my arm in it to sweep the bottom. Yeah, keep up the very good work, SG : P Spaceman ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
