All I can say is what they told me but he said they would offering another machine to make the mix and he did say you used a much drier mix , less than 15% water if I recall properly.
I will be interesting in seeing how your experiment works. 25k I think borders on ridiculous. It seems to be the big trick would be to build a machine to squeeze the water out before you make the blocks. I had envisioned a box that would take perhaps a third of a yard of mix and a beam mounted on hydraulic cylinders , perhaps from an old dump truck, to force the water out from holes in the bottom and then another piston to dump the mix out.
If you did it in great enough quantity it might be feasible to make the slurry , squeeze it out , and then dry it completely to be bagged.
Then you could transport it much farther and the duffer could use it without needing a mixer etc.
