the livinginpaper.com website, I think he should charge double for
laziness. Read the website carefully, it is the best resource on
papercrete that I have found.
No, the $25k price is for the press only. Barry would love to see
someone else make and market one cheaper, in true entrepreneurial spirit
he would probably buy it from you! I have made a number of mixers and
find that people usually undervalue my work, I am sure his work is
undervalued similarly. Personally, I believe that he has done so much
for the field that he should be charging more, but the market won't bear
that.
The speed is of the manual press is about 1 block/3 minutes, not the
other way around. An automated version will be much faster. He uses a
drier mix than most novices, as he has a powerful mixer. More on that
later.
