[papercreters] On Again

Got pictures from George of the new concrete mixer that he is fabricating from a design that we worked out this week. The new pictures in the folder are the "DSC" ones. I'm uploading as I type, so it may be a few minutes before all three new pix are up.

The mixer has a 4 yd capacity and is costing me about a Kbuck in steel to make. It should be finished today if all goes well, and headed back here early next week. As soon as George arrives we're getting back on the underground dome.

The hole has survived the couple of weeks well, in spite of several days of winds gusting over 50mph. There is a little blow sand in the bottom and small amounts of fall-off from the walls but overall the hole is intact and should not require more than a couple of hours of cleanup before we start dumping crete in it. The weather channel just announced that we should expect gusts up to 75mph just east of me today, so we'll see if that has an effect on the hole.
