Greetings,
With deep freezers, the amount of food/stuff stored in them makes a huge
difference. An empty freezer will use up to five times as much power.
A good reason to keep empty milk jugs full of ice in them, when they get
low.
Also, the ambient temperature of where they are stored. My new, energy
saver freezer is twice the size of my old one, and gets better economy.
This was tested with both full, in the same temperatures. Also, the
new one has four baskets, so it is super easy to find stuff in. I can
get to the bottom layer by removing baskets.
We use a 5 horse electric for our mixer. I know once upon a time there
were pictures of my system on the internet, but that was a decade ago.
Right now, my mixer is in pieces in my barn. If it ever stops raining
long enough, I will get the dozer in and have my logs delivered. Then I
can start doing papercrete again. Since my barn is now half full of
paper, it will be nice to get it cleared out.
