[papercreters] Re: Looking for a new place to call home.

I have 6) 5 acre parcels that I would not mind letting a few go to worthy people who want to do alternative building :) I wanted to settle the area with 5 other families of similar ideas. Off grid, earth friendly housing...

Actual pics of the property and area

In pictures you will see a gate and a school bus stop on paved road about 1 mile north of the property on the dirt trail. There is no power phone or water on the property, but I have spoken with the telephone company and they will put up a pole on the property for $25 and start service and DSL is avail via microwave there also from them!

If you'd like to look over the area in google earth here are the approx coordinates of my 6) 5 acre parcels.

31.760267, -105.449715

I think I'd take $2k for 5 acres +

There are building codes in TX however there are no county inspectors in Hudspeth and no building permit fees or plan check fees to build any kind of house. Septic does have to have a permit. prop tax is cheap, like $30 ish a year...

I wanted to do underground monolithic domes or 1/2 underground and 1/2 above ground and papercrete for insulation.... ahhhh one of these days :)
