Thankyou for that- i will have to do some tests clearly. Smouldering slowly to ash would not be good! If it is 50% concrete , is there additional sand in the mix or no?
i want to use it on walls and have lots of clay here so paper-adobe is interesting.
I am thinking of using crusher dust in the mix as i can get that easily to provide the 'sand' component. If the oven could get it hot enough to smoulder, then it sounds like there is a 'temperature over time' factor involved. I understood that 80% mineral will not burn but i don't know now if that is by weight or by volume- maybe that's obvious- sorry if its a stupid question but are you going on weight or by volume to get 50% PC?
