Greetings,
Actually, it is very water resistant. I have been working with the clay
paper mixture for over fourteen years now. I have left unprotected
chunks out in the rain, it was fine when it dried out, just like
papercrete. Like all adobe buildings, it does like a set of boots and a
big hat. Also, paper adobe will hold paint, so no need for cement.
Just paint it when it is done. For best quality, white wash it with
lime, really pretty.
