[papercreters] Re: extruded polypropylene as aggregate

I appreciate the responses from everyone. This is extruded polypropylene which is very inert. I can also get about of ton of eps from the same place.

My first attempt at including EPP into the mix were disastrous. The cement would not set. Not sure if it was too much water, plastic forms or the EPP itself.

I just attempted my second experiment today -less water, wooden forms- and so far it looks more promising. I don't expect this product to have much compressive strength, but hope it to have great insulation value.

Still hauling the stuff...
