My website shows icicles hanging from the drain of my mixer, while we were making papercrete. That papercrete does not seem to be any different from any other papercrete. We don't get hard freezes here, zero would be really rare and we don't have a frost line though I have seen it freeze an inch or so in really cold years.

I can see a possibility of freeze/thaw damage, under certain situations. If the papercrete were saturated with water and the temperature dropped below freezing, I picture possible fracturing that might create a material that will drain more easily.
