When the truck is in 2 wheel drive, it powers the mixer instead of the
wheels. When we go in to 4 wheel drive, it moves the truck and the
mixer.
We just welded together a tire rim with two square metal pipes on it.
We had lawn mower blades, but they were too long. The blades only go
about a third of the distance from the center of the mixer.
Nissan trucks have a rear drive shaft which is flexible in multiple
directions. So we just detached it from the rear axle and shifted it
up to the mixer.
next time i'm up i'll take more photos so you can see how we did it.
