Unfortunately, in the smaller cities, the inspector, the firemarshal,
the banker, the lumberyard guy, the local landlord land baron, are all
good buddys and all on the city council.

I suppose as long as we have the do gooder system requirement to protect
us from ourselves, we will have to skirt around, educate and make
compromise however we can. Too many do gooders make laws.
