Nelda,
Here is a trick with these forms. After you pour the concrete, screed it and give it its first float, let the water evaporate then cover it with 1 mil plastic. Push the form into the plastic. Pull off and repeat. don't worry about the wrinkles in the plastic as it gives it character. After the concrete cures 3-5 days take plane old ironite fertilizer and spread it over the concrete. Dampen the concrete fairly heavlly to allow the ironite to begin disolving. It will give a terra cotta red. Another color is Copras which gives a tan buckskin color. When you seal them with a solvent based sealer, the colors "POP"

Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it
holds the universe together.

Nice pattern! Where did you get it and how much did it run you, if I
may ask? Is it a hard plastic press in or a rubber mat roll on?
For marble patterns you can get the variable "line" effects on it
through a trick I read about long ago. Take a long bird feather and dip
one edge of it lightly into the paint. Hold it by the quill and pull it
toward you, rolling the quill back and forth just a tiny bit as you
pull. This will get the "vein" effect alot easier than alot of
techniques you see out there. Most of the rest of it can be sponged.
