[papercreters] Burlap-crete construction

Hello Everyone.

I am reviewing a new book about stucco from Herb Nordmeyer. In the book he talks about building interior walls with burlap that has been attached to the ceiling and floor. Next the burlap is thickened by adding stucco to each side.

Herb’s notes got me thinking about what could be done to promote this affordable building method.

I am working on an article to gather Burlap-crete examples for owner/builders.

I have found examples in:

Sasha’s home (from this P/C list)

Annesley’s Burlap-crete http://annesley.wordpress.com/burlap-crete-explained/

Maybeck Sack house http://www.concretedecor.net/decorativeconcretearticles/cd-vol-10-num-6-august-september-20101/the-concretist-berkelys-street-of-concrete-dreams/

If you are working along these lines or can point me to anyone else that is, I would appreciate the help. The goal is to gather enough information in one place to help others jump forward. I am not hung up on any particular crete version. Papercrete examples would be wonderful.

Thank you,

Nolan
