Re: [papercreters] Re: Solar Design T-square and clam shaped reflectors

Hi Brian,

Found this on line today before I  had time to click on your link.   Please keep us informed as to your progress.

How do you think you will store this?  If it is outside it has to be protected against the rain.

So you will use your cob inside a box to contain it?

With propane being too expensive, and firewood being so labor intensive, we want to do mostly solar cooking at our new place when we move there.

I think you almost have to have all three kinds, the box oven, the parabolic, and the pot kind. They all serve a different kind of function.

Show us your next prototype.

Thanks Brian for your gift to create.

I have added an animated gif at the link at the bottom to better explain a procedure for making a dish. It is a slow animation and hopefully plays a little like a presentation. Thank you for your interest. I just got an email from a prof who wrote a book on solar concentrators. He has not seen anything like the solar design t-square before.
