[papercreters] Re: Solar Design T-square and clam shaped reflectors

A couple of people want to shut down this thread because they think it is off topic?
But how exactly is it off topic?

I used cob for the models because cob can be readjusted easily and I am going completely into a new area.
Nobody has ever done this before.
So the first stage is experimental. It is not something I am going to waste cement on.
Some people get upset when they see something outside their comfort zone.
That should be their problem to deal with, not mine.
Once the curves are more pinned down, it will be time for people to make this from papercrete. Papercrete might work well for sticking the mirrors in place on a large scale device. Or maybe for a box cooker based on it.
You will not know unless you try.
But if you try before the intitial tests are done, you will be wasting a lot of paper and cement.
http://solardesign.ning.com/photo/albums/solar-design-tsquare has the latest models.
I am doing the grunt work right now to save you trouble later.
I post updates in about 5 groups. That is hardly spamming.
And I have got more friendly responses to this topic than any I have ever posted before. Frankly, people in poor countries need this very much. You do not like this thread, read another one.
It is a humanitarian effort. It takes a lot of time and I get no benefit from it. I do not see people kicking those who collect money for charities on the street corners, so why am I being kicked?
Thanks
Brian
