It was about 10 or 12 years ago now that I talked to Mike about it.
However, it was not papercrete but what he called fidobe that was not a
problem for code. Fidobe was Mike's term for paper adobe, at the time.
Instead of manure and straw, the blocks were made with paper adobe and
the adobe code followed. No problems. I have talked to inspectors in
Texas that have agreed that paper adobe, no matter what you choose to
call it, is still basically adobe.
