Re: [papercreters] Re: Very pleasant surprise this morning

Bob, I don't know why I laughed but I can just see this whole thing taking place and it struck my funny bone. It's a great idea! if the tow mixer doesn't leak as you are cruising around the streets and has a secure lid. I've never worked with a tow mixer so what do I know!!!! Ev

Pat I can see a great way to get paper with that tow mixer. All you
would have to do is fill it with water, remove the axle, run into town
and drive up and down the alleys gathering paper and cardboard from the
dumpsters, maybe install the axle when you get enough and pulp it, then
remove the axle and head for home. If you tank is going to be as large
as you've described you could have a windfall of pulped paper everyday,
and very little travel.

Just my two cents

Will try to post some pictures soon and will explain my brain 'gas'
then. Don't know if all will work, but the great thinkgabout this group
is try it, if it works share and if it doesn't share anyway your idea
may be a spark for some one else.

I was work in my back yard this morning and I heard someone comitt about
how hot it was going To get. I turned around and there stood a gentleman
I did not know (I know most everybody in this little po-dunk town) He
said he had something he wanted to show me and I would probably know
what it was. As we walked around the house I could see his pick-up truck
in my driveway with a start of a tow mixer attached to it. I knew right
then and there the man must be Pat Parham of "texasweldinginspec tor" .
Wow what a surprise, and what a start of a tow mixer. I hope Pat post
photos because this thing is an inspiration, it is made from a heavy
duty truck rear end with a removeable axle. The axle was hanging on the
side of the frame, he said once the tank is installed, he will be able
to run down the road and the blade will not be spinning. When he gets to
where he is going, he'll just re-install the axle, fill the tank with
water and paper and start pulping, then
if he wants to take the load somewhere else, just remove the axle and
down the road he'll go at what ever the speed limit is. Pat that is
truly a great Idea, can't wait to see the finished mixer. And a real
pleasure to meet you at last.
