Thank you, Chris, for a clear, concise explanation of mixing in a 5-gallon bucket. Hooray!
One question: If I substitute sand for clay soil, would the proportions still be the same?
2 gallons slurried paper
1 pint jar of portland
2 gallons of sand
A little water
I'm thinking maybe a little more paper, a little less sand?
Slurryguy, you had asked what the blocks will be used for. I want to build a decorative nonload-bearing wall sort of around the perimeter of the "yard" part of the property. I'll need a lot of blocks.
Y'all are the best!
