Re: [papercreters] Domes and spraying papercrete

I've sprayed Papercrete as stucco and do not see how one would easily
get to a six inch thickness. You would at least have to weight for
each half inch of sprayed material to dry if it were being applied to
a verticle surface. ALS keep on mind that six inches of sprayed
Papercreter would probably be R=18. That is less than IRC code
requires for walls and ceilings. Going for R=30 as a minimum would
make more sense.

I have a need for a small some for my lead acid batteries. Next month
I will be starting a double armature hemispherical with 12" spacing
between both armatures. I spoke with other Papercreters off th list
about insulating and settled on using a diaphragm pump. A friend
loaned me a 2" gas powered diaphragm pump to pull the wet PC out of my
mixer and directly between the armatures of the some. I believe this
is very similiar to the way Tim Pye built his PC home with slip forms
in Arizona.
