A couple questions, is the ground where you will be laying the
papercrete prone to flooding or staying wet a majority of the time? If
so, then I would caution that wet papercrete is not the funnest thing
to be crawling around on. Yes, this is the voice of experience. heh.
Other than that, since you are going to have this in contact with the
beams that support your house, I would spend the extra money for a 25
lb bucket of Timbor or a similar professional borate product
(http://tinyurl.com/qvz4q). Either mix it directly into the water as
you pulp the PC or spray it on afterword. This will give you good
assurance against termites, wood beetles, carpenter ants and the like.
I would also exceeed normal building codes (either international or
local if you have them) for ventilating the crawl space, as this will
give the PC more air movement to assist evaporation of any moisture
that does collect and help prevent mildew or mold. I think the normal
is 1 CFM per 50 sq feet, I would try to get to 3 CFM or so.
Just my thoughts, I have not actually built a crawlspace of PC,
although almost all of my PC to date has ground contact.
