[papercreters] Re: Do i need a permit?

Everything old is new again.

You're describing a root cellar. A tried and true method of "cool"
storage for food stuffs going back thousands of years.

There is a lot to be said for such a cellar. In many ways our more
modern refridgerators, while convenient, are a step backwards in common
sense and efficiency.
