There is gravel yard near me that uses fly ash (type F) in their
concrete mixes. I spoke with them today about obtaining some for my
cement mortars and papercrete. They wanted to sell it to me, but
apparently there was a legal issue. They need to contain their fly
ash at all times except when adding it to their own concrete mixes. I
had not heard anything of this nature before. Has anyone else run
into this fly ash containment code? I assume it is somehow related to
the toxicity of the fine particles and potentially arsenic content.
