[papercreters] 6 month anniversary

Exactly 6 months ago today, some guy, who must have been a stubborn fool, started a small gesture to try to make a difference and learn more about papercrete.  It's been one heck of a ride.

Isn't it incredible how Papercreters has grown in just half a year?

Lots of interesting pictures, links, and files.

There's more.

How can we measure the value of all the great information we've exchanged?

How many different recipes have been discussed?
How many different ingredients?
How many different uses for papercrete?
How many different mixer designs?
Pumps?
Sprayers?
Forms?
Wall Designs?
Foundations?
Roofs?
Furniture?
Stuccos?
Plasters?

We even have papercrete sculpture represented.  (About the best I can sculpt is "a blob".)

How many different structures have been built by our members?

I haven't counted the occurances of any these, but it's impressive.

Who among us hasn't learned something new?
I know I've learned a lot.

Look at the amazing projects that we've looked at and discussed.  Who inspires you to want to build something?  There are many to choose from.

All the great stories and funny quips have kept it all very entertaining.

It's an honor to be part of this group.  Thank you everyone for constantly teaching me new things.  I'm befuddled about how that quantity of information can fit in my feeble brain, but somehow a lot of it manages to cram in there.  More keeps coming. I don't know where in my brain to stash any more information, but I'll find a way to free up my other neuron and get it firing too.

Six months of fun are now complete.  What will happen next?  Who knows, but I bet we'll all be smarter as a result.  Sounds like fun to me.

WE'RE JUST GETTING STARTED.

Who will be next to grab some paper, pulp it up with whatever they have around and build something?  Don't wait to find out.  Jump up and do it yourself!  This stuff is easy gang.

Tell us about about it.  Take pictures if you can and post them.  Do you have a camera that can take videos?  By all means post a video of what you're doing.  Judith's and Mikey's videos are great, but I'm confident we have a bunch of budding Spielbergs out there.  :)

Don't think of papercrete as a spectator sport.  GET IN THE GAME!  Puree some Pulp with Pride.

Keep it up the great work and keep having fun gang.
I for one am loving it!
