Greetings,
We use either ceiling joists or rafters, which ever term you prefer, but
there is only one set of wood up there. It is like a wall laid flat. I
bring cables up every 8', go around the stringer, if you can call it
that. Cable nuts keep it tight. I rarely use nails for anything
anymore, the wind pulls them out way too easy. I like you pod idea,
played with it myself.
