There is a plugin for Firefox called download helper that will save videos from utube and many other sites. Free, of course, like most open source software.

Once you install the plugin then while viewing the video's page, it is just a matter of clicking on the icon that download helper has, and telling it where to save the video.

Greetings, I know many people on this list play with utube, so hopefully someone can answer my questions. There is a video that I want to see, being on dial up I can't just watch it. A freind has DSL and will download it, but he can't figure out how. He is using Linux. Can anyone give instructions? He is going to burn it onto a DVD for me, since it won't fit on a memory stick.
