Started a slip form wall a few weeks ago. Feel like I will never go back to the block method again. So much faster and the wall comes out smooth and very hard. Had video but it is locked in the camera. Have my computer guru working on it.
Also poured some roof panels (about 30" x 48') with the regular formula minus the pumice. They are taking a long time to dry but we have been having some glorious thunder storms every afternoon so it is understandable. Went out today and hefted one. It's about 30 lbs. Should be maybe 20 when dry.
Been spending most of my time trying to learn how to operate this darned computer. Look out the window at the bright sunshine every morning but discipline myself to the lessons. Oh well.
Treated myself to a "lost afternoon" today designing my next project (out on the back porch with clouds of mosquitoes encircling me). Delightful!
Sincerely, Judith

Subject: [papercreters] Who's making wet slurry this weekend?
Warm weather has arrived.
I bet quite a few people will be slopping some slurry around.
What specific project are you making? No project is too small.
Have any pictures of your active project so far?
