The creators of the hexayurt are good friends and I'm told that this has been attempted with good results.  We are considering a simple mod on this design for our next project.

The great thing about hexayurts, like papercrete, is designed to be created with locally available materials at under $200 per shelter.  Vinay Gupta now teaches advanced survival skills and prep in Europe/UK and he'd love to hear about any successful papercrete hexayurt builds.

hello,
this "hexayurt" might appeal to some as a form to papercrete, around or on.

Look up hexayurt ; the idea is to utilize the sliver lined foam panels and tape them... using a bidirectional filament tape. For Papercrete or Ferro cementing... one could use packing tape just to hold the shape till the papercrete / cement dries. or leave it in place...

I am also playing with recycling, by using plastic water bottles as infill stacked for a small little wall and coating the outside...no pictures but it's fun to let the imagination go. my next project is a small dock for my pond utilizing the recycled water bottles as the flotation part and finding a decorative way to ferro cement a deck portion.

simple fun
cheers
