Building" : "The Hand Sculpted House" by Ianto
Evans. Also I recommend reading "SOLVIVA" by Anna Eddy..... "The Long
Emergency" Kunstler......... "Litle House on a Small Planet" by Shay

-- Bob has done a lot of great work on Nolan's site, and last year I
saw him building his slurry -extracto-whirlpool" papercrete mixer..
is that finished? any pics of it on line to see? ah.. Colloidal
mixer-- that's the word! sounds very high tech!
anyway, Yes I know of all these book the Art of Natural building only
covers crete, and other methods in short chapters, and is not a how to
at all- no recipes for any of it as I recall. also no color images,
and b& w is not good for earth colored buildings.
Hand Sculpted house is the best for cob-- but not a papercrete book;
many building aspects of "sculpting" a lumpy mass -like drained
papercrete -can be applied from this book, especially for load
bearing walls were no wood is used for framing, other than roof and
window /doors bucks. I carry this one.
the one book with a lot of papercrete OTHER than Gordon Solberg's book
is " Living Homes" by Tom Elpel.

Tom goes into a lot of crete mixing along with slip form stone
walls, complete how to on all from electrical and roofs to cement mixes
for stone walls, etc.. and has a companion DVD, mostly on slip form
stone walls, not crete.
Solviva is great about greenhouse garden systems, it is inspiring. I
dont have it in stock but will carry it again soon.
Little house on SMall planet is perfect for remodeling an older house,
and making green choices. Shayintervirewed a friend of mine here in
Eureka CA and featured her house in the book. not in stock with me at
this time.
