Re: [papercreters] Re: Papercrete and Extreme Couponing, the perfect partnership?

Bravo Charlene!  Actually for a while when we first move to Texas, I was getting coupons for cage free organic eggs, organic milk and a few things like that.  Not in the last 15 years though, unless they are given by the store.  HEB and Kroger both coupon healthier foods.

Standing WAY back and looking at the big picture YES "if you WERE going to buy overprocessed, chemically altered, high fructose junk foods that last for years uneaten ,,,then we all go ahead and SAVE money,  BUT ruin our bodies over time as most Americans do not eat wisely now.   .
and "papercrete" recycle types are likely to avoid the products the masses consume, in favor or  home grown, fresh real foods, right?.
So in the end we did not get to 600% rise in diabetes/kidney dialysis and 70% overweight from good nutrition..Coupons CONTINUE this national madness..only feed the BIGFOODCORP which is NEVER held responsible, their profit JOB is  to keep foods as cheap and tasty as possible..not provide for OUR health.
I WONDER HOW the processed foods stored on ALLthose tiny "home grocery stores", thousands of bottles of sauces boxed noodle mixes, cake mix, ALL edible stuff.  (canned foods last 20+ years, except for canned pineapple that eat thru the metal in <10 years- true, ask me how i know!)  deodorant, toothpaste, TP, yes, those may last, but all manufactured products break down, and I don't see how a family of 4-5 can consume all those boxes  of food on shelves, especially cereals. NOT knocking how you eat, but just going by your friendly coupon clipper lady and getting her leftovers for your papercrete may be the healthiest thing to do.
