on a related topic: There are sketchy historical records of the ancient Chinese using lightweight armor made of laminated layers of rice paper.
The interesting thing about this armor was that it supposedly got STRONGER when wet!
Have not verified this, but am curious if their formulation/processing of the rice paper could be used in papercrete to deal with wetness issues?
Any thoughts on this?
