Since PC doesn't "set" like concrete, I don't think drying time would change. As for the rest, tests would determine that, but I imagine there not be much difference from "normal" pc.
Congrats on the beams. Got pictures?

Hi All, Has anyone tried adding a small amount of this "Roman" style quick setting cement into PC batches? Would it decrease drying time? Increase strength? Make a harder finish? Create a non breathable PC? Increase fire/bug/mold resistance? Concrete as I know it (with Portland cement) was invented in the 1820s. Up to that time they made a concrete with magnesium oxide or phosphates. This concrete was much stronger then the present stuff and even stuck well to wood and steel. It's still available today but runs about $30 a bag instead of the $5 for Portland cement. You can find it as a concrete floor leveler compound or quick drying patcher. There are illustrious Egyptologists out there in the world who all agree, the center "stones" were poured into molds.------------------------------------ Yahoo!
