I have found that Facebook is a great marketing tool for small sales. If you look into their adds you will find that you can target extremely specific areas and market types, and you only pay for the people that click on your add to go to your page. The last add I ran through FB to sell feed I target my local area only and only people that show interest in the type of animals I want to feed. The whole campaign ran for a month and cost me $12.50.
You can also just advertise for free in bird groups which you can find heaps of on Facebook, and people in those groups usually don't mind advertising.

Hello Nolan Not sure if you have come across the article in Mother Earth News. In the 70's they had an article where they build a "concrete tipi". They used this principle of burlap soaked/coated in concrete to waterproof the skin and give it rigidity. I also read another article about someone doing something like this (also MEN) only with a round top rather than pointy like a tipi. If you need more info, let me know I can try and dig up the article for you. Otherwise I think you should find it if you do a concrete tipi search on the MEN web site. Well it looks like you have just made some little homeless birds very happy.Nice work and very colorful.
Basalt for concrete reinforcement. A while back I posted something asking about the use of Basalt reinforcing for papercrete. I have had difficulty getting my hands on sample material. Mostly suppliers are interested in selling it by the pallet. I finally found a place that would sell me a sample package of their products. They have rebar, roving, mesh, fabric and matting. All made out of lave rock. It is supposed to be nearly as strong as carbon fiber, doesn't weigh as much a steel and it cannot rust.
Anyway I'm anxious to see what the stuff is like and want to experiment with it. Has anyone else tried using it in papercrete?

Hello Calle,
I would love to show examples of pallets and Burlap-crete. If you do find that site, please let me know.
John Annesley did a very good job describing the mixes he tried until he got to one that worked well for him.
I have received a contact email for the curator of the Maybeck collection that may also be helpful.
