Hi everyone.
first I also wana thank the moderators- keep doing what ever it is you
do so well, so WE ALL can have a good time connecting to each other.
second, I wanted to ask; has anyone tried to make a PC block
consistnig of 2 different mixtures? if so can you describe it & for
what purposes?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of producing insulating
panels that can be attached to the outer surfaces of existing houses,
meaning, I want slim panels (2-6 inch thick) with a lot of R-VALUE
(inner layer- High on fibers, less on mass- OPC, dirt etc.)on the one
hand but it durable to climate (outer layer- Low on fibers, High on
mass- OPC, dirt, Lime etc.) on the other
Also, I wish to minimize the use of wire mesh, rebars or any kind of
extra reinforcement which is not a part of the PC mix.
so anyone? experience? thoughts? am I shooting to high here?
Plus, How big do you think the panels should be? I think they should
be at least 10 cm (4 inch) thick, and thinking of 60x120 cm boards.
still thinking about connections to the wall as well.
would love to get ideas
udi
