[papercreters] Re: MIXERS;

It's been several years, but as I recall that hand crank mixer didn't have a long run. Not that it was ever intended to have a long run.

I agree about the leg powered mixer.

I think any manual powered mixer would work dramatically better if it included a heavy flywheel. That would make it easer to chop up larger chunks without stalling out, but you'd then need some kind of a clutch between the flywheel and the blade. Otherwise, it would be a nightmare to start up with material in the tank. Another big drawback with a heavy flywheel is that the light weight portability of the mixer would be reduced.
