I wonder if these would work with paper and cardboard. Papercrete clogs most things but the shape of these gears looks like it might do the trick.
I heard about someone using an undersink type garbage disposal for pc, but don't remember any reports about longevity or speed. Harbor Freight used to sell a pump designed to get sewage out of a basement, but it didn't turn up in a search at their website today.
For the price of a couple of 4" fittings and a plastic drum, George could know pretty quickly how his pump would make pc. A sturdy clamp on lid would probably be in order.
