Re: [papercreters] Invitations to help build with papercrete

<nods>

The rebar coming up from the foundation at the corners will be encased in a smooth pipe.  The papercrete walls will be poured around the pipes.  Once the papercrete dries the pipe will be extracted and the cavity filled with concrete to create the post.  I'd like to be able to pour the posts and bond beam in one continuous pour.  I'll have to rent a vibrator (the kind on a long wand) to ensure I have good fill to the bottom depths of the posts.  I will also have to support the papercrete inside and out at the corners so the weight of the concrete doesn't burst the papercrete form.

I'll be using latex in my mix to reduce the papercrete's ability to absorb water.  That should reduce or eliminate any problem with the papercrete absorbing water from the cement before it sets.

You can see why I'm starting very small.

I'm not sure what is meant here.  Post and beam construction usually starts with the posts and beams, then infill for the walls.   If I am interpreting this correctly, you are going to frame the walls and pour papercrete walls first, and then after a few weeks of drying pour the concrete posts at the ends of the walls.
