I urge you to consider the differences between a typical
refridgerator and a house in an arctic climate in the winter.
Interior Temperature
House 70 deg F (+/- a degree or two for individual comfort)
Fridge 37 deg F (recommended by the food police)
Exterior Temperature
House 0 deg F or below
Fridge 70 deg F (same +/- for individual comfort)
Interior/Exterior Temperature Difference
House 70 deg F or more
Fridge 33 deg F (very stable)
Also consider that a fridge dosn't have much air current flowing
around it typically. A house will usually have at least a breeze and
often a nasty wind.
This changes the economic break-even point significantly.
Using papercrete changes the economics even more because it is much
less expensive than synthetic foams.
