Hello everyone,
I'm planning an earth-sheltered home, and have researched rammed-
earth, rammed tires and many alternative construction methods. I've
been leaning towards straw-bale walls, stuccoed with
papercrete/fibrecrete, but I know little about it. Can anyone share
experience(s) with using it in their home? I'm curious as to how you
mix it, getting the ratio of fibre, sand, water and cement just right.
I live in a cold climate(Alberta), and we're just trying to research
all the possible options before we make our choice and move forward
with plans for spring construction.
