RE: [papercreters] ] PC / FC hybrid structures

I'm thinking I might be able to use that as side walls under an awning to keep the elements out and give me more space for storing molds and making cement objects in the winter (rather than doing it in my kitchen).

Hahahahah.
Expanded metal lath is thin sheet metal that has been perforated by millions of little knives, thus expanded.  It is commonly used as reinforcement for cement mortar stucco.  Makes the strongest cement shell with multiple layers of lath and mortar and can be used with papercrete as protection and structural reinforcement of and with papercrete.
Hog rings can be used to fasten layers together.
