I'm an hour away, earthbag 20x50 barn going up coating it with paper/adobe. I'd of coated it
with traditional stucco or cement, but a non-breathing coating over an earth based wall
tends to be bad news in terms of longevity of a structure, whether its earth bag or adobe...
Anyway, I believe I'm one of the pushpins, to be honest I don't even know how to get to the
pushpins, I tend to have time to check in here every few days so I can't feasiby keep up with
the postings even if mailed to me- too much information, not enough time. Here's a photo
journal of my earthbag and paper-adobe experience thus far: http://

I know of someone over in Animas that built
papercrete logs a couple years back and made a house of them, and also somewhat near you
is Windtree Ranch, which had hosted a papercrete workshop with Mike McCain about eight or
nine years back and they built a number of papercrete structures on their property.
