[papercreters] Clarissa, Rodeo, NM, and horses

WoW! That's what I get for not paying attention! I missed the whole first part of Clarissa's posts. Welcome, Clarissa!

I love Rodeo - almost bought land there about 6 years ago, but couldn't find anything on the NM side, and AZ is too picky about permits and inspections. (It could cost more for that stuff than the house costs, I think!) The greatest thing is the short distance to the Coronado?---(memory fails me) National Forest, with it's myriad of ecosystems.

When you say "we" are going, does that mean you're married or have a partner-in-crime? I'm a single, middle-aged - well, okay, pretty old - lady with an old horse, three dogs, two cats, a horse trailer, and an old truck. Any possibility we could share a piece of land and help each other? My health is not good enough to build by myself, but I have a fair knowledge of electric, plumbing, and basic construction. My income is fixed at "not enough", so I can't afford to go anything alone.

I guess before I laid all that info out, I should have waited for a response about your family circumstances
. lol..
