Yes, I was in Madrid but that relationship has ended. I am now working on my property in Oklahoma. I have some really neat plans for it......

Hi Judith,Clair from Alberta Canada,we are just waiting for the snow
to melt (another month hopefully lol)and will start rebuilding the press and making a convayor to move the pre drained mix to the press.Im working for a large fab shop now running their paint shop so have use of the shear and break plus a big scrap bin.We have a order for the spring of 2012 so this is the year to get things up and running.We also found a pice of land with 10 acres and a big dugout of water,so its just what we needed.Will send some pics once we get going again.

The finish plaster will be something smooth and lovely.

I just uploaded some photos of papercrete stucco we are applying to our
new city hall building, we used it to cover over ceramic tile and damage
to brick and wood. I have full intent of making papercrete stones and
mortering and screwing them directly to my OSB, I have done this already
in a small way but don't have the pictures with me right now but I will
post them when I can.

I am a builder with experience with stuccos, OSB, moisture, etc.  I have not used papercrete as yet but have been looking at it for years.  One thing I can assure you is that you don’t want to trap moisture in walls.  You can seal surfaces so they won’t get wet, but moisture will accumulate inside walls especially if the interior is heated.  There are many ways of venting walls and there should be some means for this to happen.  Interior vapor barriers are a solution, but a perfect vapor barrier is seldom if ever achieved.  I haven’t been monitoring this group lately but I’m sure there are others with more experience that can offer suggestions I haven’t considered.
